Multi-Site Enterprise Connectivity
Connecting head office, branches, data centres and the cloud across cities and countries is one of the hardest jobs in enterprise IT. It has to be reliable, secure and affordable. Delta Communications makes it simpler: one vendor-neutral partner designs, delivers and supports the whole network, with one point of contact for every site.
The challenge
Distributed businesses need consistent performance at every location, from a 500-person headquarters to a five-person sales office. They also need secure site-to-site traffic, fast direct access to cloud and SaaS platforms, and costs that don't balloon as the network grows.
In practice, most multi-country networks grow piece by piece. Each new site gets whichever local carrier was easiest at the time. The result is a patchwork: different contracts, SLAs and support desks, and no single view of what is happening. When a site goes down, IT teams lose hours working out who to call.
A typical scenario
A regional company runs its headquarters and primary data centre in the UAE. It has a disaster-recovery site in another country, around a dozen branches across the GCC, South Asia and Europe, and most of its business applications in the cloud. It needs:
- guaranteed performance for ERP, voice and video between HQ, the data centres and larger offices
- fast, secure internet and SaaS access at every branch
- automatic failover so a single circuit failure doesn't stop a site
- one monthly bill and one support number
How we design it
As a vendor-neutral provider, we build the right blend of services for each tier of your network rather than one carrier's standard bundle:
| Network tier | Recommended service | Why |
|---|---|---|
| HQ ↔ data centre ↔ DR | IPLC or Ethernet Private Line | Dedicated, high-capacity, predictable links for replication and core systems |
| Larger offices | MPLS with QoS | Prioritised any-to-any traffic for voice, video and ERP |
| All sites | SD-WAN overlay | Application-aware routing, encryption, central policy and automatic failover |
| Internet and cloud breakout | Dedicated Internet Access | Uncontended, symmetrical bandwidth with an uptime SLA |
| Smaller or temporary sites | Broadband or LTE/5G under SD-WAN | Lower cost, still centrally managed and secured |
Many networks combine MPLS for the most critical traffic with SD-WAN everywhere else. Our MPLS vs SD-WAN guide explains the trade-offs.
How a rollout works
- Discovery: we map your sites, applications, bandwidth needs and existing contracts.
- Design and pricing: we compare carriers and routes for each site and propose one consolidated design and commercial offer.
- Delivery: we manage ordering, installation and testing with every carrier. Sites can be migrated in phases to avoid downtime.
- Operation: our 24/7 NOC monitors every circuit, handles faults with the underlying carriers and reports on performance.
Why enterprises choose Delta
- One partner, one contract and one point of contact across every site and country.
- Vendor-neutral procurement for the best route and price, over reliable top-tier carrier networks.
- 99.9% uptime SLA and round-the-clock NOC support.
- Global reach across the Middle East, Europe, Asia-Pacific, the Americas and Africa.
Frequently asked questions
Can you take over our existing circuits?
In most cases, yes. We can bring existing services under our management as their contracts allow, then replace them gradually as the terms end.
Do we have to choose between MPLS and SD-WAN?
No. Hybrid designs are common: MPLS or private lines carry critical traffic, while SD-WAN adds flexibility and failover across all sites.
Can smaller sites use broadband?
Yes. Under SD-WAN, broadband or LTE/5G sites are still centrally managed, encrypted and monitored.
